Benzalkonium Chloride (BAC) provides
residual enhanced anti-microbial action
- It also provides MMP Inhibition (activated by acid etching dentine) – this preserves your bond
- Absence of a silica thickener allows etchant to be rinsed away leaving tooth surface free of residue, not affecting bond.
